Great service pity about customs charges though ?

After the post man delivering my mail (3 letters) through my door I rushed down to collect to see if an 'attempted' was put in because previously on waiting on a parcel this has happened but no attempt made. Nothing there but a few mins later I get a message to say my parcel wasn't able to be delivered due to address being inaccessible. Furious isn't the word when I paid short of 7 for the parcel to be delivered today, kept track of it online, and also used my last day off to stay in waiting on parcel that I was advised would be delivered today. Absolutely shocking service from postman. Receiving payment for delivery is them getting paid to stick to a CONTRACT. Not delivering stuff isn't sticking to that contract.Will attempt to collect without 'attempted card' today after explaining this situation but if I don't get it I will be taking things further. Isn't the first time it's happened and most likely won't be the last. I don't have any dogs at my property, or security doors or padlocked gated etc, everything is accessible as proven by the useless postman who delivered the 3 letters but couldn't carry a small box in his bag.
