I had an absolutely shocking experience in Kavelle. I walked in, was looked up and down, my name wasnt asked even after booking an appointment. My family werent offered a glass of prosecco nor a coffee whilst they waited while I looked around. The lady serving me asked if I had seen anything out of the book so I asked if she had a few to which she replied yes but she soon decided to disappear and I never saw the dresses that I liked once. I also asked to try on a few that I liked on the hanger but was soon told that they were out of my budget, and to be quite honest my budget was flexible and a try on wouldnt of harmed. I wanted to walk out the shop before I even started trying on dresses! There was a man walking in and out of the shop which was very distracting and uncomfortable, and the lady serving me just left me to it and decided to serve another customer. We walked out of there very unsatisfied and absolutely shocked that they could treat a new bride this way and not only that but didnt make me feel like I was the only one that mattered. Fortunately I am so glad I went to Emma Roy first and found my dream dress, and I couldnt ask for a more delightful experience there. Kavelle was my second out of three shops and I can certainly tell you I felt disheartened and angry after my experience here.
Amazing dresses. I was put off by the fact i wasnt allowed to know the designer of the dress and have pictures taken. It put me off buying from there.
Kavelle was fantastic! she sat with me and asked what I was looking for. Then I chose a few dresses to try and she chose one dress that I never would have tried as it was bigger than I would usually go for. However, she knew exactly what she was doing and the dress she chose for me - which she designed herself - was absolutely perfect! So glad I trusted her and I cant wait to wear it!
Excellent service and Kavelle herself was so professional and her help was invaluable. We had visited 4 other bridal shops however she totally outshone the others. I was very impressed with her knowledge of alterations and suggestions of accessories. Overall totally enjoyed our experience in the shop and the wedding dress is totally gorgeous and very elegant. Would totally recommend trying this bridal establishment.
I found my shopping experience at Kavelle wonderful. I can still remember the 1st time walking in the shop and feeling like I was walking into a different world. I cannot express how lovely the shop is. They also have a fantastic range to choose from. Despite the selection I still went with a made to order dress. Before deciding, I did try on quite a few dresses and after liking different parts of different dresses, I was told that I could have one made and was sketched out a lovely drawing of my own style dress by Kavelle. The service was impeccable and very relaxed. I cannot wait to see the end result. I could not fault Kavelle Couture and its very assuring that they are probably one of the longest running family owned bridal shops in Edinburgh. Would recommend to all. x
